The data you input into this site is not shared with any other provider group or
any other third party. Your data is not benchmarked against any individual provider
group. The reimbursements your fees are compared to are averages for that market
and do not reflect the reimbursements of any one provider group.
The average reimbursement for a CPT code for a given market is based on data gathered
from at least 5 different providers. The information is not weighted according
to the size of the reporting practice group or the number of patients covered by
a given health insurer.
The data used in producing your report is not based on any one managed care fee
schedule. We do not use or store for internal purposes the name of the managed care
companies or products you provide us other than to produce your individual report.
We require the data used for your report is at least 3 months old. The data is gathered
from explanations of benefits (“EOB”), fee schedules shared by physician groups
in a given market, third-party actuaries that gather and disseminate reimbursement
data, and information inputted by subscribers to the Benchmark Database site.
Your use of this site is kept completely confidential and not shared with any other
outside organization for any purposes.
